Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women and accounts for approximately 29% of annual new cancer cases worldwide.42 Advances in screening and management have substantially improved the prognosis of breast cancer such that the 5-year survival rate exceeds 90%.24 Improvement in mortality rates among breast cancer patients have led to an increased focus on morbidity.
